About 25 development agents convened from the six-sesame producing woredas of Western and North-western Tigray zones were trained as trainers on improved sesame production package, financial literacy, environmental degradation and sesame value chain development issues, from the 24^th-25^th of May 2019.

The training was conducted with the objective of filling the knowledge and skill gap of newly recruited development agents with the specified topics.

Of the the total participants, seven were female development agents.

The training session was jointly organised by Benefit-SBN, ISSD and CASCAPE.
