  • Cascape is designed to add to activities initiated by Agricultural Growth Programme of Ethiopia, especially in verifying best practices in agricultural production and identifying under which circumstances farmers are prepared to take up innovations. It was initiated to strengthen the capacity of stakeholders on scaling up of best practices and newly introduce practices for agricultural production. Its approach aims at improving linkages between farmers, NGO’s, private sector, universities, research institutes and policy makers.

  • International Fertilizer Development Center (IFDC)
  • projects focus on increasing food security and agricultural productivity in developing countries through the development and transfer of effective and environmentally sound crop nutrient technology and agribusiness expertise. The goal of the 2SCALE project is to reach 1.15 million farming families and increase productivity by 100 percent and net incomes by 30 percent. It develops agribusiness clusters and ensures that farmers engage in profitable markets.
  • C4C/SNV
  • Bill and Melinda Gates funded Cooperatives for Change (C4C) project aiming to increase output marketing of cooperative unions and increase farmers’ income.
  • Agriterra
  • Agriterra supports farmers’ organisations in fighting poverty, with advice from experts from the Dutch agricultural sector and with finance from the Dutch government. Agriterra believes that strong farmers’ organisations lead to more democracy, economic growth and a better distribution of income. It focuses on economic development and work closely together with the Dutch agribusiness.
